| 内容記述 | This article explores the term "borrowed scenery," a descriptive phrase in Japanese landscape gardening, in order to describe the work George Sugarman and Shin'ichi Okada have done for the new Miyazaki Prefecture Cultural Park, dedicated in 1995. The American sculptor, Sugarman, is introduced, and the circumstances of the siting of his sculpture in relation to the work of architect Okada are discussed. | |||||
