内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a ‘Content and Language Integrated Learning’ (CLIL) approach to teaching vocabulary in a college-level photography course taught in English. In the first year of the course, many students reported difficulty with the specialized vocabulary used in photography, most of which falls outside the most common 2,000 words in the New General Services List. In response, the second year of the course used a CLIL approach to teaching vocabulary. The study included 37 students who were given a vocabulary quiz on the first and last days of the course. The results showed that the CLIL approach was highly effective for teaching vocabulary in this context. | |||||||
