内容記述 The aim of this study was to examine the effects of the stress on the self-consciousness on the preschool teachers during their teaching practice. Their self-consciousness was considered on two points : the orientation toward preschool teacher as an occupation and their preschool-teacher-efficacy. As a sample, 364junior college students in an early childhood education course were asked about their stress during their teaching practice, their orientation toward preschool teacher, and their preschool-teacher-efficacy. The main results were as follows : (1) Student teachers felt high levels of stress about working conditions, and they felt low levels of stress about interactions between them and other people (cooperative teachers, children). (2) Student teachers who felt high levels of stress about fundamental task showed low levels of orientation toward preschool teacher, and (3) Student teachers who felt high levels of stress about fundamental task and interactions with children showed low levels of preschool-teacher-efficacy. These results suggest that (1) During the teaching practice of the students, high levels of stress enhanced a negative self-consciousness on the preschool teacher as an occupation, and that (2) During their teaching practice, it is important to lessen the stress of them (e.g. providing them with social support).
