Contextualized learning refers to the process of learning the meanings of new words from contextual clues. In contrast with contextual learning, form-focused vocabulary learning refers to the explicit teaching and learning of vocabulary in the classroom. The results of a collaborative action research project conducted in two content-based classes over a 15-week semester did not show significant difference between the effectiveness of the two vocabulary learning methods.}, pages = {1--6}, title = {学術語彙習得における文脈学習と形式学習の比較的考察}, volume = {10}, year = {2004} }
